The SME Forum 2026 will be held on 18 August 2026 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL). Themed “Navigating Geoeconomic and Geopolitical Disruption – Future Proofing Malaysian SME”, the forum addresses the challenges posed by shifting trade borders, new tariffs, evolving compliance standards, and global supply chain realignment.
Participants will engage in keynote addresses, panel discussions, live audience polling, and open Q&A sessions, designed to provide actionable insights for SMEs over the next 30, 90, and 180 days. Rather than abstract theory, the forum emphasizes practical strategies for sourcing, pricing, financing, and growth in a rapidly changing environment.
Organized by the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific, a leading independent think tank, and supported by the Economic Club of Kuala Lumpur, the forum continues their mission of fostering dialogue between government, business, and civil society. It is designed for SME owners, entrepreneurs, policymakers, financiers, and industry leaders, offering a platform to exchange ideas and prepare Malaysian SMEs for resilience and competitiveness.
