Keretapi Sarong 2025

Keretapi Sarong 2025 is a nationwide cultural flash mob celebrating Malaysia Day through unity, tradition, and public transport. Returning for its 9th edition on 13 September 2025, the event invites thousands of participants to don colorful sarongs and traditional attire, gather at designated train stations, and ride together to a secret location. This year’s theme, “Bangga Malaysia”, highlights national pride in local culture, creativity, and homegrown brands. Expect traditional dances, music, storytelling, and spontaneous cultural showcases as Malaysians from all walks of life come together in a joyful, moving celebration of identity and heritage.
