2nd Resorts World Genting National Luminous Dragon King Championship 《第二届夜光龙王争霸赛》 will take place on 28 and 29 November 2026 at Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting. The event is a Dragon Dance Championship and Cultural Performance Competition featuring elite dragon dance teams from across Malaysia competing for the prestigious “Dragon King 龙王” title. Twenty teams will compete in the semi-finals, with only ten teams advancing to the grand final for the ultimate championship showdown.

The competition showcases the unique art of luminous dragon dancing, blending traditional dragon dance culture with modern visual effects. Participating teams will perform choreographed routines featuring illuminated dragon props, synchronized drumming, acrobatic stunts, and creative storytelling elements. The competition also continues its popular Creative Props category, encouraging teams to incorporate original stage props and artistic concepts into their performances, transforming the event into a multidisciplinary celebration of culture, creativity, and performance art.
