World Hand Hygiene Day 2024 is celebrated globally on 5th May. The slogan for this year is “SAVE LIVES – Clean Your Hands.”
Clean hands save lives. By washing your hands at the right times, you can prevent the spread of infections and protect yourself and others.
At Assunta hospital this occassion is well celebrated by continuously cultivating a good and routine hand hygiene practice among all the members of the hospital as well as our patients and visitors.
In conjunction with the celebration, Assunta Hospital has organised several activities for the public such as hand rubbing demonstration and view under UV light, hand hygiene education, word search puzzle, picture sequence and colouring contest for kids.
