10th World Bonsai Convention (WBC 2026) @ Pavilion Bukit Jalil

The 10th World Bonsai Convention (WBC 2026) will be held from 28–31 August 2026, with exhibitions continuing until 6 September at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, marking a historic milestone for the global bonsai community. Organized by the World Bonsai Friendship Federation (WBFF) and hosted by the Malaysia Bonsai & Suiseki Society (MBSS), the convention celebrates bonsai as a universal art form that fosters international friendship and cultural harmony.

Under the theme “Unity in Diversity”, the event highlights Malaysia’s multicultural heritage through bonsai artistry, suiseki (viewing stones), and wood art. Attendees will experience demonstrations, workshops, exhibitions, and cultural tours, alongside gala dinners and networking sessions. The convention also features legendary bonsai masters such as Masahiko Kimura (Japan), Kunio Kobayashi (Japan), Zhao Qingquan (China), Mauro Stemberger (Italy), and leading regional artists.

Designed for bonsai enthusiasts, artists, collectors, and cultural lovers worldwide, WBC 2026 emphasizes inclusivity, knowledge sharing, and artistic excellence. It provides opportunities to learn from global masters, explore Malaysia’s cultural diversity, and contribute to the legacy of bonsai as a bridge between nations.
