The Kopitiam Fest × Guinness World Records 2026 will take place from 18–20 September 2026 at the Pavilion Bukit Jalil Piazza, celebrating Malaysia’s beloved kopitiam culture. More than just coffee shops, kopitiams represent shared cultural memories across generations, defined by Kopi Tarik, local flavours, and community gatherings.
This year’s festival will attempt a Guinness World Records™ challenge for “Most Kopi Tarik Sold in 8 Hours”, turning everyday Malaysian traditions into a global milestone. Beyond the record attempt, the event highlights kopitiam flavours, stories, and hospitality, inviting visitors to enjoy performances, cultural showcases, and authentic food experiences.
Designed for families, food lovers, cultural enthusiasts, and the general public, the festival emphasizes inclusivity and heritage preservation. It aims to showcase Malaysia’s kopitiam identity to the world, ensuring that its flavours and traditions are remembered and celebrated by future generations.
